TBC CULTURE CODE

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

Every family, business, school, and church has a culture. Your culture defines who you are, and who you are not. If we don't know who we are and where we are going, we will never know when we are actually being effective in what God has called us to do.

COMMITTED

We are fully committed to Jesus, His Church, and the mission He has given us. We don’t serve halfway, lead casually, or treat ministry like a hobby. We show up faithfully, take ownership, follow through on what we say, and give our best because what we are building matters for eternity.

SERVE

We lead by serving. We believe greatness in the Kingdom of God is not measured by status, platform, or position, but by humility, sacrifice, and love. We look for ways to meet needs, lift others up, and make people feel seen, valued, and cared for. Serving is not something we do occasionally; it is who we are.

EXCELLENCE

We pursue excellence because God is worthy of our best and people are worth our preparation. Excellence does not mean perfection, but it does mean intentionality, consistency, and a refusal to be careless with what God has entrusted to us. We aim to plan well, prepare well, communicate well, and bring our best attitude and effort to everything we do.

UNITY

We protect unity because the mission is bigger than any one person, preference, or opinion. We choose honor over gossip, humility over pride, and reconciliation over division. We believe a healthy church requires trust, honest conversations, and a shared commitment to move in the same direction for the sake of the Kingdom.

MULTIPLY

We believe healthy things grow and faithful leaders reproduce. We are not here to simply maintain what exists; we are called to develop people, raise up leaders, make disciples, and expand the reach of the Gospel. Multiplication means we invest in others, create room for growth, and build with the next person, next leader, and next generation in mind.
